I was looking for a was to use up my bananas and came across this receipe and it is SO good. The bread is really moist and the flavor is great. The cream cheese frosting just gives it that extra yum factor. This one is a keeper, Thanks!

This looks really good, but I think there’s another way to make this that’s less labor intensive, and maybe even better…

Cut and toast slices of banana bread, and then smear with cold cream cheese.

Instead of two things that are sweet & mushy; you now get the contrast between something that’s crispy, hot and rich & something that’s light, cool and savory.

Please try this sometime, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

That makes a lot of sense-I guess it also depends on how many you are feeding. Either one works for me; thanks for your comment.

I am looking for a banana bread that can possibly be increased and made into a large cake size. Want to serve for 68th anniversary occasion for breakfast. Do you think this recipe could easily be increased? Ideas on cooking time if yes? Recipe sounds delicious.
