Wow! My slow cooker has been getting a lot of use lately. Spring time is busy and it allows me to prepare the recipes in my time frame. This Slow Cooker Italian Sausage and Pasta Recipe caught my eye because I have never attempted to cook pasta in the slow cooker. It worked out great as a one dish meal and the family wiped it right out. There were no leftovers. This is a very simple recipe with not a lot of prep time, you could put it on around 11 or 12; set it and forget it and finish it off just before supper time. If you’re running a busy schedule give this Slow Cooker Italian Sausage and Pasta Recipe a try and enjoy.

This is another simple recipe with a great flavor. I was busy with some chores and needed another set it and forget it type meal so I decided on this one dish Slow Cooker Herbed Chicken with Wild Rice Recipe. Rice and chicken go great together and I like wild rice and the crispy bacon is always a nice touch. The only problem was it smelled so good I could hardly wait till it was done. I didn’t make any changes to this recipe and it came out great as is. I think if you used boneless chicken thing or a combination skinless chicken pieces it would work out just as good. Put this Slow Cooker Herbed Chicken with Wild Rice Recipe on the menu tonight and enjoy.

I am having a really busy week and needed to save some time, so I chose this Slow Cooker Chicken with Veggies and Rice Recipe. It is pretty much a set it and forget it recipe with very little prep time. I was kind of hungry for chicken this week and this did the trick. I served this with rice, but it makes a terrific gravy and would also go great with mashed potatoes. The recipe calls for 6 chicken breasts, but my wife and I were the only ones eating at home tonight so I cooked 4; but used the same amount of the other ingredients which gave us some leftovers for later in the week. The dominant spice in this recipe is thyme and it comes though rather strong; so if you don’t care for that seasoning I would cut it down or eliminate it. I have listed it as optional. If you need a good easy fix for dinner give this Slow Cooker Chicken with Veggies and Rice Recipe a try and enjoy.

This is not your average taco. This Pulled Beef for Tacos Recipe was so good I almost ate the beef roast before it got into the taco shells. Included here is the basic recipe for the slow cooker pulled beef; I have pretty much left it up to you; to top it, with your desired condiments. I used the standard toppings consisting of, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and topped it with shredded provolone cheese. This is a mildly seasoned recipe, so season it to taste if you want to turn up the heat. Another nice feature about this recipe is, you can set it and forget it, because it’s a slow cooker recipe. Treat your family to this Pulled Beef for Tacos Recipe; you and your family will love it. Enjoy

Using the slow cooker, or crock pot, has always been one of my favorite ways of cooking pork butts and loins. This Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe is a simple recipe with very little prep time. It’s pretty much a set it and forget it type of recipe. You could spice it up a little more if you like, but I think it is very good as it is. This Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe would also be great for a social gathering, party or pot luck. I will post more of these types of recipes before the school graduations start.

Enjoy!

This Rice and Chicken Vegetable Casserole is another simple one dish meal recipe. There is very little prep time and if you are on a budget it is also very inexpensive. Just combine all the ingredients in a casserole dish and pop it in the oven. I like these kind of recipes, because there is very little clean up; helping save some time if you have a busy evening ahead of you. I though this Rice and Chicken Vegetable Casserole Recipe was very good as is, but as you can see it is very lightly seasoned, I’m sure could season to taste if you would like. My family thought it was excellent. I hope you enjoy.

I love Lasagna, except it always seems like a big project to make it. I have wanted to try Slow Cooker Lasagna, so I decided to give this Slow Cooker Lasagna Recipe a try. All the ingredients looked pretty good, but I wasn’t sure how the noodles would turn out; because the Lasagna noodles are not precooked. It was a pleasant surprise. The slow cooker handled the Lasagna noodles just fine. Because you don’t have to precook the noodles, there is a lot less prep time, than when you prepare a regular Lasagna recipe. This is defiantly going in my favorite’s box as another great, prepare it, set it and forget it recipe. The next time you are working on a busy schedule, and want to come home to a nice hot meal, give this Slow Cooker Lasagna Recipe a try, you and your family will love it. Enjoy

As far as I am concerned Chili is made for a slow cooker; the longer it cooks, the more delicious it is. What more can you ask for than to come home from work on a cold winters day to a hot bowl of chili. This Slow Cooker Venison Chili Recipe is a simple recipe that you can prepare in the morning, set it and forget it, and have a hot meal ready at the end of the day. If you don’t have any Venison on hand, just substitute beef burger instead. This Slow Cooker Venison Chili Recipe is a little on the nippy side, but you control the amount of heat you want by adjusting the amount of hot sauce you are adding to the recipe. Enjoy

I always look forward to the fall and the deer hunting season that it brings with it. I have had a pretty successful season and have been looking forward to preparing some Venison Stew. I had a very busy day coming up and decided on a Venison Stew Slow Cooker Recipe. I really needed something I could prepare in the morning so I could set it and forget it till dinner time that night. I had some out of town business to take care of and when I returned to the house that evening the delicious smell of the cooking Venison Stew filled the whole house.

This is pretty much a basic recipe and you could successfully alter the ingredients almost anyway you would like, or substitute beef stew meat in place of the Venison.
