Fire up the grill for Super Bowl Sunday; these Jerk chicken wings are delicious. This is one of those recipes that smell so good you can’t wait to get your hands on them, even before they are cooked. There is very little prep work involved, but they do take some time because of the marinating time required. I would recommend getting them into the marinade the night before the super bowl. This is an Asian type recipe, so I served these chicken wings with a rice dish, but I think they would go great with any type of cold pasta salad. Super Bowl Sunday I will be serving this Jerk Chicken Wings recipe with a cold shrimp pasta salad. Enjoy

It was blowing and cold outside with snow coming down, but I didn’t care, I was getting ready to cook these Venison Bacon Burgers on the grill.

I am always looking for good venison recipes and this one caught my attention because of the bacon mixed with the burger, and it didn’t let me down. The combination was absolutely delicious. If you have some venison burger on hand, give this Venison Bacon Burger Recipe a try. I’m sure if you are not able to grill it, pan-frying it; it should turn out just fine. Enjoy

Game day again and this Beer Brats Recipe is on the menu. If you are Tailgating or watching the game from home; Brats on the Grill are delicious.
This past week we have had the coldest weather of the season, but I couldn’t resist the temptation to fire up the Grill on football game day. Greenbay football and Wisconsin Beer Brats, how good can it get? This is a simple recipe, and you can prepare the Brats for the Grill ahead of time. Just up the recipe for the number of football fans you have to feed.

Wow! This is the best Grilled Venison Steak I have ever had. The first Venison of the season and I decided to go all out. It is just a beautiful late fall day here in upper Michigan so I decided to fire up the grill. Venison is usually a little on the dry side so I decided on this Grilled Venison Steak Recipe, that uses a marinade. The result was a delicious, tender, melt in your mouth, grilled Venison steak. Combined with grilled mushrooms and a potato and onion packet it was a meal hard to beat. If you like Venison give this one a try you’ll love it. Enjoy

Fall is approaching quickly; school and football are just around the corner, so I decided to take advantage of the nice weather, and fire up the grill; well we still have the nice weather. Grilled Burgers always are a big hit in this house and this Cowboy Burger Recipe with fresh tomatoes was no exception. As far as I’m concerned there is not much better than the taste of fresh tomatoes on a grilled burger. Add the fried onions and cheese-and this burger turns into a delicious work of art. If you are looking for something special to grill on Labor Day, give this recipe a try, you’ll love it.

For the most part it seems like all of the Country has been in a major heat wave for most of the summer. The only think I can think good about that is; it has been a great summer so far for cooking out. I love mushrooms with almost any type of steak or burger. Here is a simple Saute Mushroom Recipe you can prepare either on or off the grill. The picture is from one of our cook-outs. For this recipe I used baby ports, but I am sure any good quality mushroom would work fine in this recipe.

It always seems like a big issue for me to decide what to prepare for a side dish, so I’m always looking for a simple recipe that won’t take much time. This Creamy Garlic Penne Pasta Recipe caught my eye. The whole family likes pasta dishes, and I needed a recipe that would go good with baked fish. I wanted it to be a hot dish as opposed to a cold pasta salad; just thinking warm, would go better with the baked Tilapia Fish, it was being served with. The whole dinner was a success-the baked fish was good and the Creamy Garlic Penne Pasta was excellent. The next time you need a warm side dish give this one a try. Enjoy
