I needed a good side dish to go with chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday and I decided on this Shrimp and Pasta Salad Recipe. It has a lot of nice color with a delicious combination of salad dressing and vegetables. I think this recipe would also work out great for a pot luck or social get together. This Shrimp and Pasta Salad is a very simple recipe with very little prep time. Just be sure to allow enough time for the salad to sit and blend in the flavors. Enjoy

Whenever I run across a one dish meal recipe; I love it because it can save a lot of time in the kitchen. This Chicken Cacciatore with Pasta Skillet Recipe caught my eye and I had to give it a try. The recipe is lightly seasoned, and the whole dish is on the light side, and very good tasting. You could probably season it up a little more if you would like to, but I thought it was really good the way it is. The recipe calls for boneless chicken breast or thighs, I used the breast meat because that is what most the family likes. Personally I think the dark meat would be a lot moister, and if it were only me eating, that is what I would use. The choice is yours; give this Chicken Cacciatore with Pasta Skillet Recipe a try, and enjoy.

Anytime we have spaghetti or lasagna for dinner the family loves it when I have garlic bread to go along with it. This Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe has to be the best; it’s a little bit of work, but well worth the effort. If you are use to the frozen ones in the grocery store you won’t believe how good the fresh homemade Garlic Bread can be. This Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe is just a good combination of flavors and also freezes very well to carry over for left overs.

I love Lasagna, except it always seems like a big project to make it. I have wanted to try Slow Cooker Lasagna, so I decided to give this Slow Cooker Lasagna Recipe a try. All the ingredients looked pretty good, but I wasn’t sure how the noodles would turn out; because the Lasagna noodles are not precooked. It was a pleasant surprise. The slow cooker handled the Lasagna noodles just fine. Because you don’t have to precook the noodles, there is a lot less prep time, than when you prepare a regular Lasagna recipe. This is defiantly going in my favorite’s box as another great, prepare it, set it and forget it recipe. The next time you are working on a busy schedule, and want to come home to a nice hot meal, give this Slow Cooker Lasagna Recipe a try, you and your family will love it. Enjoy

This is a great tasting salad with the taste of garden freshness. It seems like every time I make a pasta salad we are using salad dressing or Mayo so I decided to go with something a little lighter for a change. The olive oil vinegar combination along with the other ingredients is a delicious combination in this Italian Pasta Salad Recipe. This is a large recipe and could easily be used as a dish for a pot luck dinner, or some type of social. The original recipe called for provolone cheese, but I substituted mozzarella and it worked out just fine. Enjoy

Beer and wine in spaghetti sauce? At one time I thought this was quite unusual, but over the last couple of years my line of thinking has changed. When I brought this Beer-Braised Meatballs and Spaghetti Recipe up to my son, his eyes lit up and he said, “go for it.“I thought it was amazing, how good the combination was. I thought the beer would overpower the spaghetti sauce, but it did not- it just resulted in a delicious combination of flavors. If you’re looking for something a little different for supper tonight, give this Beer-Braised Meatballs and Spaghetti Recipe a try. You and your family will love it. Enjoy

If you like spaghetti and you are in the mood for something a little different this Italian Chicken and Peppers Spaghetti Recipe is for you. The combination of peppers, mushrooms and onions along with the chicken is delicious. This is a simple recipe and is fairly quick to prepare. As far as the chicken you can use either boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs. I chose the thighs because they are a little moister when cooked compared to the breasts. Whenever I make something a little different I wonder what the outcome is going to be with the family-they loved it. Enjoy
