In search for a one dish meal and something a little different I decided on this Chili Macaroni Casserole Recipe. This recipe is mildly seasoned which I like, but if you like it hot you can turn up the heat by adding cayenne or red pepper flakes to taste. There are a lot of ingredients, but if you time it out right, it doesn’t take very long. While the burger is cooking you can cook the macaroni and put the cheese sauce together. When you serve this Chili Macaroni Casserole Recipe you can top it with sour cream; it’s a nice added touch. Enjoy

A week doesn’t go buy that I don’t make a Yogurt Smoothie for an evening snack. The family loves them; they are healthy and delicious. I have included a few tips here to turn your Yogurt Smoothie Recipe into perfection. In this recipe I used the new Activia Harvest picks; it was a smooth and delicious addition.

For lunch, or an after dinner treat; treat you and your family to a Strawberry Banana smoothie with Activia Harvest Picks and enjoy!

4 tips to making delicious yogurt smoothies

1. Blend the fruit long enough but not too long. Blending the fruit too long will reduce the flavor.

2. Use honey instead of sugar; honey provides vitamins and minerals.

3. Don’t use water or ice, if you need to add liquid, use low fat milk.

4. Use a yogurt with a sweet fresh fruit flavor like Activia Harvest Picks

I love watching football on Sunday afternoon with good food. If you have a group over to watch the game this Louisiana Sloppy Joes Recipe is the best. It is very easy to prepare and makes 12 Sloppy Joes. When you add the Cajon Seasoning; add it to taste. I like the spices on the mild side so it was perfect for me. If you want it a little spicier just add extra. Serve it with fries or chips and your all set for a Sunday afternoon of football. Enjoy

I was asked to cook for a get together at he Church. Cold salads always seem to go good for pot lucks or a large get together. This Bow Tie Seafood Pasta Salad Recipe has good color due to the imitation crab meat; so it presents itself very well. The blend of flavors is delicious with the crab and shrimp meat added in. This is a large recipe, so if you are making to feed your family at home, you may want to cut it back a bit. I cooked the full recipe, and it was wiped out. Enjoy

If you are tired of buying egg rolls in the store or the deli then give this Simple Egg Roll Recipe a try. I have to admit I didn’t do the roll ups myself, I had some help; when I prepared these, and She did a very good job. The last time I attempted these they came out looking kind of ouccourd. I am getting old and I guess my fingers don’t work so well anymore. Anyway enough crying, they are just delicious and the whole family loved them. I served them with chicken flavored rice. Enjoy

We were going to make Coney dogs, but decided we wanted something a little different. For our family Coney Dogs basically has consisted of canned Chile on a hot dog with chopped onions. I decided to give this Recipe a try. During the spring and summer months I like to use the grill as much as possible; so I decided to grill the hotdogs. This recipe was a pleasant change and the whole family enjoyed this version of Coney Dogs. There is not a lot of prep time and you can grill the hot dogs while the sauce is simmering.
