    Mac and cheese

Even now that my kids have grown up Macaroni and Cheese still is a favorite side dish for us to serve with a variety of different main dishes. We sometimes serve it as a main dish, depending on the kind of mood the family is in; or in other words, what everyone would like for supper. After a successful fishing trip-we decided on a fish fry, and made this Fannie Farmer’s Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe as a side dish. The Macaroni and Cheese along with the fresh caught and deep fried fish were an excellent combination. This Fannie Farmer’s Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese is a simple recipe that doesn’t take much time, and does not require a lot of ingredients. Give this recipe a try, and enjoy.

Sooo good. This will be my go to recipe from here on in! I did add bacon to it however. Fried it up to a crisp then cut it into bits and chucked it in. Such a lovely texture. Also added a teaspoon of mustard powder. NOMNOMNOM

Really tasty! This was the first time I’ve tried to make homemade macaroni and cheese and I’m really proud of how it turned out. It’s creamy and delicious! I used half sharp cheddar and half medium cheddar, and can’t wait to try out different cheeses. Like that it didn’t use many ingredients and was simple, just make sure to keep on stirring!

My mom use to make this when we were kids and its our family favorite! My mom always added a can of Diced tomatoes and Ritz Crackers for topping with melted butter! To Die For! Love this recipe!
