This slow cooker pork chops recipe requires very little prep time and takes long enough to cook so you can get some things done instead of spending a lot of time preparing supper. The original recipe calls for garlic and chili paste but I used chili garlic sauce in place of those ingredients.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce – or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 – 3 pounds boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • (Cooked rice or hash browns – optional)
  • 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
  1. In the slow cooker mix together the brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic sauce, pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place the chops in the slow cooker and roll them in the mixture to coat.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or until fork tender. (4 -5 hours on high)
  4. Mix together the cornstarch and water, remove chops to a serving platter and lightly cover with aluminum foil to keep warm. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
  5. Serve sauce over chops with rice or hash browns.

It is just a crazy week here with a lot to do. I really needed something simple and again it was the slow cooker to the rescue. This Slow Cooker Pork Chop Recipe is as simple as it gets; if you like pork and are short on time give this recipe a try. It is so simple I was a little nervous about making it, but the family loved it. This is a simple combination of flavors that produces tender delicious pork chops and superb gravy to serve with mashed potatoes, and your favorite vegetable. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon ground mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste ( I used ¼ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon salt )
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil for browning
  • 1 can 14.5 ounces chicken broth
Instructions
  1. In a large reseal able plastic bag, combine ½ flour, garlic powder, Ground mustard, salt and pepper.
  2. Shake the chops one at a time in the plastic bag, and brow, in a large skillet using the canola oil; placing them in a slow cooker.
  3. Using the remaining flour in a small bowl combine the flour with the chicken broth, and pour over the pork chops.
  4. Cook for 3 to 3 ½ hours till tender. Remove the chops and whisk juices till smooth to form the gravy.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes and enjoy
