My kids love Tacos but for some reason I can take um or leave um. But when we mixed a few added ingredients to them such as rice, and used ground turkey, instead of beef burger, they were just delicious. I have added this recipe to my favorites list. If you like tacos or even if you don’t, give this recipe a try. This recipe is for the main ingredients; top with your favorite toppings such as chopped tomatoes, onions, lettuce and cheese. This Turkey Taco Recipe makes about 12 hard or soft shelled Tacos.
1 pound ground turkey
3 cups cooked brown or white rice
1 package taco seasoning
2 Tablespoons chili powder
1 Teaspoon Cumin
½ Teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
12 hard or soft shelled tacos
1. Combine turkey burger and minced garlic, and cook until burger is done.
2. Add Cumin, taco seasoning, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.
3. Add rice and cook on low heat until heated though.
4. Stuff into the taco shells and top with your favorite toppings, ENJOY
