1 package restaurant style tortilla chips (you’ll probably use about 1/ 2 of a large bag)
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375F.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
In a large skillet using the oil, cook the onion, green pepper, and burger until the burger is no longer pink inside; drain if needed.
Mix in the water and seasoning mix and simmer for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally to keep the mixture from sticking.
Cover a large baking sheet with aluminum foil (I used a 16 x 12 jelly roll pan if you don’t have a pan this large you can use 2 smaller baking sheets), lightly spray with cooking spray, and arrange the tortilla chips tightly together over the bottom.
Place about 1 teaspoon of the meat mixture onto each chip and then sprinkle on some cheddar cheese.
Bake for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted – serve with your choice condiments.
