Chili Seasoning Mix Recipe

If you like chili and need a quick way to put it together after work, or when the kids get out of school, give this Chili Seasoning Mix Recipe a try. It kind of drew my attention, because of the dried onions and garlic it called for. This is an excellent seasoning mix that results in a thick and well seasoned pot of chili. If you don’t like a lot of heat, watch the red pepper flakes. Use this Chili Seasoning Mix in your favorite chili recipe for the seasoning.

This mix will keep up to 6 months in an airtight container.

1 Tablespoon Flour

2 tablespoons dried minced onion

1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper

1/2 dried minced garlic

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Combine all ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Here is a quick Chili recipe if you need one.

1 pound lean ground beef

2 cans kidney beans (15 ounce)

2 cans tomato sauce (15 ounce)

Chili seasoning mix from above.

1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. Drain if needed.

2. In a large sauce pan combine all the ingredients. Simmer for at least ten minutes, and serve.
