Tater Tots Casserole Recipe
We have prepared this recipe in our family for years. The kids have always liked it and it is a very simple recipe to prepare with very little prep time. You could probably cut down on the baking time if you thawed the vegetables first. There is no seasoning added to the recipe, but you could salt and pepper to taste; however I have not found this necessary. I prepared the recipe as written and it is very good, so if you’re looking for a one dish meal the whole family will enjoy give this Tater Tots Casserole Recipe a try, and enjoy.
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium yellow onion (chopped)
1 16 ounce package mixed froze vegetables
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
1/2 can of water
1- 2 pound package frozen Tater Tots
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. In a large skillet brown the burger along with the chopped onion; drain any excess fat if needed.
3. Mix together all the ingredients except for the Tater Tots and spoon it into a 3 quart casserole dish.
4. Place the Tater Tots on top and bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours.
