Spring is here. When the temperatures hit the 30’s it didn’t take me long to decide to fire up the grill. I was told by a friend of mine the stickier and gooier the BBQ sauce is, the better it tastes.
Well with the new grilling season I had to try a new barbeque sauce recipe. Make sure you have a lot of towels on hand because you will need them. Sticky, gooey, and just delicious.
I used this recipe with chicken, but I am sure it would also be great with pork or beef. Enjoy

Simple Barbeque Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

- 1/2 white onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 2/3 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Place olive oil in a saucepan. On medium heat, cook onion and garlic until they are soft.
- Add the white vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
