Crunchy Baked Chicken Strips Recipe

Cease salad croutons add crunch and seasoning to this Crunchy Baked Chicken Strips Recipe. This is a great recipe for any type of get together and would certainly be a great addition to the menu for a super bowl party. This is a simple recipe that only requires several ingredients, has very little cooking or prep time, so you can have it in front of your guests quickly. I used sweet and sour sauce when I served this recipe and it was very good.

Ingredients
  • 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup baking mix
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Cesar salad croutons (crushed)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • Dipping Sauce of Choice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450F.
  2. Place crushed Cesar salad croutons in a shallow bowl or pie plate.
  3. Place the baking mix in another shallow bowl and whisk in the salt and pepper.
  4. Cut chicken breasts lengthwise into 1 inch strips.
  5. Roll the chicken in the flour; then dip them in the beaten eggs, and then roll them in the crushed croutons.
  6. Place the chicken in a lightly greased (or sprayed) shallow baking pan and drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until chicken in no longer pink inside turning once during the cooking cycle.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe

The football season is ending and the Super Bowl is only a few weeks away. When I saw this Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe I figured it would be great on a Super Bowl Party menu. I have prepared a lot of chicken wing recipes and I think this has to be one of the best. The honey mustard blends perfectly with the wings, the orange zest gives a hint of orange flavor, and then the added flavor from the grill makes these chicken wings delicious. This is a simple recipe but there is quite a bit of prep time because of having to marinate the chicken wings. The recipe calls for 30 minutes of marinade time, but overnight is better if you are going to be grilling them in the afternoon. I planned on serving these in the evening so I started the marinade first thing in the morning, and it worked out really well. The amount of Honey Mustard sauce the recipe makes coats the chicken wings nicely, but it is nice to make up a little extra for dipping, although I don’t think it’s really necessary.

Ingredients

3 pounds chicken wing drumettes (patted dry with paper towels)

1/4 cup BBQ sauce

1 tablespoon orange zest (finely grated)

1/4 cup hot sauce

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

Honey Mustard Sauce

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Directions

1. Using a large bowl combine the barbeque sauce, orange zest, hot sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard. Add the chicken, and toss to coat. Allow the drumettes to marinade in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, or overnight; tossing occasionally.

2. Fire up the grill. Grill the chicken on lightly oiled or sprayed grates over medium heat; grilling until fully cooked. (Internal Temperature 165F) While the chicken is grilling mix together the Honey Mustard sauce and set aside on warm.

3. When the chicken is done using a pastry brush coat the chicken with the Honey Mustard Sauce, turning as needed.

Serve Hot with extra sauce (optional)

Slow Cooker Brats with Sauerkraut Recipe

With the Super Bowl right around the corner I thought this Brats with Sauerkraut Recipe would work out great for a Super Bowl Party. This is an easy recipe with a unique blend of flavors. To be honest when I looked at the ingredients I was not so sure, but It is just Delicious and is bound to please the guests at any party. Give it a try and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 8 uncooked bratwurst links
  • 1 can 14 oz sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and finely diced( I used Granny Smith )
  • 3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 8 Brat buns
Instructions
  1. Arrange the Brats in the slow cooker
  2. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients.

With the 4th July coming up this Brats and Beer Recipe will be a big hit. This is so tender you wont believe it. This recipe is very simple and one of the great things about it is you can prepare it in advance. Throw it on the grill when you’re ready to party-they will cook fast. Ingredients
  • 1 (12 ounce) can lager beer
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 10 whole black peppercorns
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 3 garlic cloves (optional)
  • 6 Brat buns

Instructions
  1. Put the brats, onions, peppercorns, cloves, garlic in a saucepan, pour in the beer.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer the brats 15 minutes.
