When you need a quick and simple meal but don’t want to go the fast food route. This Simple Chopped Steak and Gravy Recipe is excellent.
There is not a lot of prep time, it cooks fast- it is just delicious. Get as fancy with the chopped meat as you want to get. I used ground round on this recipe because that’s what was on sale.
I am sure any type of lean ground beef would work. Enjoy

I made this for my family and it was great! Already getting requests to make it again! It was simple!
I am wanting to make ahead and freeze just the patties… Then will complete cooking and gravy when ready to make. Do you think this would work?
I think it would be worth a try. I think it’s a good move to do the gravy later.
I prepare meat as directed in the instructions and then freeze it in the Ziploc vacuum bags and it when I have a hard day at work and not lot of time to cook I pull out the patties and thaw, make the brown gravy and I have the main dish ready to go. You can never tell the meat came from the freeze. I love how fast and simple this recipe is anyway but having most the prep work already done makes it super fast.
