I dare you to just eat one. These Chocolate Toffee Bars are just addicting. I took them off the table and put them in the freezer. No one could keep their hands off them. What a great Holiday Treat.

Chocolate Toffee Bar Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (8 ounces) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a 13x9x2 inch pan with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick.
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolks, vanilla, and salt.
- Blend well.
- Mix in flour just until combined.
- Put into prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- When melted, spread and sprinkle with nuts.
- Cut into squares while warm.
- Let cool completely.
