Make sure the core is still linked, so the wedges stay together in one piece. After the cabbage wedges have been added to the pan, the carrots and diced onion should be added. Butter, salt, and pepper, as well as a bit of chicken broth, are added as a final touch. Everything is braised until soft in a covered pan.
